Intercollegiate Quiz Competition conducted at our College on 10/1/2020

Today I was indeed fortunate to attend the Annual Conference of Dreams  programe,It was such a wonderful experience to listen to all those motivating stories of   living gems  who are creating progressive social changes for a better present and tomorrow and this day was just another lovely day in my life.

I have always been fortunate enough to have some people in my life, being a single child, it was never easy to  grow up and make new friends in this complex  world.But as I grew up, I found the world so exciting and wonderful.

My parents had been a great support to me  and they instilled the fire in me to chase my dream.They  are indeed a blessing to me by God.I owe my parents for what I am today. I am lucky to be born as their daughter.

AN ELEGY FOR NATURE

As the morn arose

With hope and enthusiasm

   A quick fresh;

And reached the station.

We leaned in our seats,

And the bored waiting

  Was stopped by the whistle of the train.

It wasn’t for the first time

But for many

I had been to my place for vacation.

A time to enjoy and relax

Without the heavy books and encyclopedias.

My eyes struck on the wonderful 

Greenery of the nature.

And I remembered that

Each day is a new revelation of beauty,

The moving train gave me

Promises to show incredibility.

I saw wide pastures grazed by the cows

The wild flowers that added charm

And the mighty rivers that flowed.

As the careless lads immersed in plays;

Lazy lasses gazing at the passing train;

The sleepy passengers in their daydreams

I listened still

To the dazzling noise of the train.

My mind moved away to my younger days.

The days when I travelled long trips,

The enthusiasm that made me

Sit near the window seat

And enjoy the scenic beauty of nature,

Passing hills and towns

My eyes rolled down for a catched sight.

Thoughts gathered in me

About the heavenly beauty of nature;

The days when she was

Fascinated by every one.

The greedy hands of man

Made her frightful,

She is now imploring for a protector.

And a time will come

When we will suffer for the great loss

On what we had done to her.

She cared us, preserved us,

Loved us more

And provided us with security.

It is an unfailing truth that

We are destroying our mother.

Today is a great beginning to rethink what you have been going through and all you have to wear well is your confidence to rekindle the spirit to achieve success in your life.
