Ode To My Guru* -The Exceptional

The most Blessed day it would be

That added a new meaning to my life

With new insights and hopes for future.

Such strength would come

Only from an indomitable spirit

Who had a vision

To lead a group of young aspirants in Literature

As well as to enliven lives with a meaning.

As it was said by her Teacher

‘She was drawn by the dedication of her students’

Truly …It was well said indeed

How could we either be drawn towards our Ma’am?

Because she is worth of it.

It was a revelation

For the young aspirants in literature

Truly, it was incredible

Instilling minds, Inspiring many Lives

She created Sagas of generations.

It was one of dream-fulfilling days in her life

Which she was longing for long.

I too was anxious about the event*

As I was one among the volunteers and

I was delighted to be part of it.

She amazed every one as always with her charisma

And her Comprehensive Encyclopaedia

 Was dedicated to literary canon.                        

There is so much love and care that she spreads

To every student.

I have never met or experienced

Such an amazing teacher before.

I really feel blessed to be her student

So much a Teacher can inspire,

And I too feel

Some has the divine touch of God

Which sets them apart from the ordinary lot

And Kalyani Ma’am is one of this kind

Who is more beyond a Teacher.

When can we find out the real meaning of our life?

Do we live for our goals?

Do we live to fulfil it?

And here is a Woman who became timeless

Not just because of her enthusiasm

But she imparts the kind of energy

That she possesses just like a candle

That transforms the whole world with its light

By vanishing the rays of ignorance.

I would love to entitle her as

‘Bold and Beautiful’.
