Unfurls fragrances.

Mystic scent of rain is

Inflaming my senses.

A new born babe

Smells milk and powder.

But a child  immersed in

World of toys and everlasting wonders

Smells favourite snacks.

When grows to a teen

Fascination of dreams

Drizzles……….

World of high fashion and make up

Creates new waves of fragrance

Of the finest lavenders

To the royal mirages.

On attaining youth

Fragrance of love

Covers each

Inspite of challenges    

For stability.

In the Old age within four walls

With weakness and medicines,

Loneliness is the fragrance left forever.

After a deep sleep, with a sigh

I faced the world.

The startling sounds of glee.

Of them, only a few could I see.

My lovely days arose with

Their  prattling voices.

They seek out food in a hurry.

The usual sounds of cry.

I entailed to be portend.

The lonely times of boredom.

A concern of compassion

Often times in the offing threatened me.

The oneness that ties our feelings

For one be real.

I realized to appreciate

The language of love.

I was reluctant of humanity.

Was that an exceptional day for me?

Rise…. Gaza…Rise….

She left for her favourite chocolate with a penny

But never returned.

Her father held her tightly to his chest

And gave his final kiss.

He buried his heart along with her.

What remained in the soil of Gaza?

Only the aftermath of the bombs,

The truck from *Khan Younis

Was full of women and children

Who sobbed and screamed.

They were in search of a place without bombs.

Only the elders knew that they could not

Or ever find such a place on earth?

But the little ones still had hope.

Did their eyes wander for the moon?

 Or, their awaited death?

The fighter planes of Israel flew with

Incomparable wings of cruelty.

It was not the colour of joy

That the sky of Gaza had,

But that of fear - the black

Moments of pain and terror,

 Their shattered dreams and hopes,

Inflicted minds of Gazians.

Their own land became strange to them.

Between thefts, gang murders and

False speeches rested the violent Gaza. 

They lost their glorious past,

  And their colourful future.

Gaza - a new name for human butchery

And inhuman torture.

The last door closed before them with a bang -

The final door for freedom.

Who is to be blamed?

Who is to be punished?

Peace an unachieved dream?

Rise…Gaza...Rise from your blood

Rise…Gaza...Rise from your tears

Rise…Gaza…Rise from your ashes.

(Kalzium and Tupi 2D Magic )

Introduction

The point of discussion today is Kalzium and Tupi 2D magic.

My seminar is divided into two sections . The first section deals with Kalzium a full-featured chemistry application and its features and the second section deals with Tupi 2D Magic .

Educational Technology in the present world has acquired a wider significance due to its wider applications  of technology in education. Learning has also become much easier and information is at a click away. The role of a teacher is much more meaningful now and has also been a matter of great importance since identifying the needs of the pupils and with the help of technology teaching strategies are implemented more effectively. This topic is really important in the point of view as Kalzium is digital replacement for the periodic table on paper and tupi magic TupiTube Desk is a 2D animation tool for desktop environments focused on usability for children and amateur artists. I have referred different  websites and tried to include as much as information in my Seminar.

Kalzium is a full-featured chemistry application, including a Periodic Table of Elements, chemical reference, chemical equation solver, and 3D molecule viewer.

This app contains information about 103 chemical elements, including mass, charge, picture, discovery information, chemical and energy data, and a model of the atom.The table itself can be configured to display numeration, state of matter, and colour-coding in various ways. Tupi (formerly  KToon) is a software application for the design and creation of  2D animation This tool, inspired by and for animators, is being developed by an open community. It is covered under the terms of the GNU General Public License v2, meaning that  Tupi  is a free and open software . After Tupi was forked from KToon, KToon's official website was changed to redirect to the website for Tupi.

Kalzium is a free, open source app that will allow you to obtain an abundant amount of information about the periodic table of elements.

Kalzium is a periodic table of the elements for KDE Software Compiliation. KDE is an international free software community.

Kalzium has already some nice features but there are still a lot of things to do.

As Kalzium has been included in KDE 3.1 we are currently coding quite lot to bring in some new and nice features and make it as fast and useful as possible

Kalzium  is a periodic table application for KDE which not only displays detailed information about elements and allows you to view the periodic table using different schemes, but also allows you to perform various calculations, plot data depending on various factors, or balance chemical equations. It is a useful educational tool which can be of great aid learning  is the KDE chemistry/periodic table application which can be of great help in learning about chemical elements, balancing chemical equations, doing basic calculations, or just use it as a chemical elements database.

Kalzium  offers several ways to display different variants of the periodic table: the classic periodic table, a short periodic table displaying only the eight primary groups, a long variant, or only the transition elements.

Kalzium is a program that gives detailed information about elements through the use of an interactive periodic table. Kalzium is a fairly straightforward piece of software.This would be useful for studying Chemistry ,so definitely secondary and tertiary education levels.

 This advantage of this programme is having tremendous amount of information at a place .

The top page displays a standard periodic table. By moving the cursor over the element’ symbol  the  elements name and atomic mass is displayed. Clicking on the symbol  opens a page that contains more information about the element such as melting point, boiling point , its electronic configuration and more.

Features of  Kalzium

·         3D molecule editor, with a load and save functionality

·         an equation solver for stoichiometric problems

·         Filetype conversion for different types of chemical programs

·         Tool to produce a comprehensive list of all Risk_and_Safety_Statements

Tupi 2D Magic

Tupi  is a software application for the design and creation of 2D animation. This tool, inspired by and for animators, is being developed by an open community.

 Tupi is a spin-off from KToon, the original project being abandoned by its developers.   It  has basic drawing tools and support for different kinds of between animations.

Tupi is a design and authoring tool for digital artists interested in 2D Animation, offering an interface experience focused on 8-100 years old kids. 
Tupi: 2D Magic is a free software application from the Other subcategory, part of the Graphic Apps category. The app is currently available in English and it. The program can be installed on All POSIX (Linux/BSD/UNIX-like OSes).

One of the main objectives of this project from the beginning has been to provide an easy user experience, starting at the design of the GUI  which allows the creation of simple animations in only 5 steps.

Despite still being in early development, the software includes many features:

Support for basic tools for vector illustration that includes rectangles, ellipses, lines, and polygons. Paths can also be created using the pen or pencil tool. The paint bucket tool can be used to fill bounded areas of vector objects.

·         Raster images (sometimes called Bitmap) can be imported and used as either static backgrounds or animated assets.

·         Finished animations can be exported to various file formats that include:

·         Ogg Theora,AVI,JPEG and SVG format

·         Basic support for tweening of positions, colours, rotation, scale, sheer, and opacity has been added to recent releases.

·         The Library panel allows for the organization and reuse of imported media assets.

Conclusion

 Technology has now become  part and  parcel of our life. Technnology can be found useful in many means, It  has  created a tremendous impact in the minds of young and old. It also produced significant changes  in every aspects of human life. Kalzium is one such educational software which is a quick an easy tool  for  students to get more acquainted with elements and to know the structural properties.

Tupi 2D Magic is also yet wonderful  software  which students can create animated cartoons. This software is really helpful in instilling the creativity of  students. Technology has actually saved   our precious time and  we are really lucky that we can experience these pursuits of Technology.

Mother – The guide

When life was cruel and bitter

 Her tears rolled down the cheeks

The night was deepened  

By her cry of mourn.

But…….for me

She was an angel who stepped out

From the pages of a fairy tale

And became my friend.

She revealed  

The beauty of a real woman,

The real charisma

In my awkward age.

Her talks and walks made me learn from her.

Words are not enough to prove

My love to my mother.

She moved with grace and

Acted with loveliness.

When times had been worse

Her steady and engaging smile

Gave me strength

To face the realities of life.

The joyful moments we shared are untold.

I see the holy touch of God in her.

WOMANHOOD –THE COBWEB

Woman - the complete creation by God.

In the dark world,

She illumines the mind of humanity,

With her melodic tunes, she creates symphonies.

Her compassion and care

Nursed and cured the needy and destitute.

The ultimate expression of divine love.

In her warm and tender touch,

The whole world soothes and performs wonders

For the baby she is the whole universe.

When the dreadful eyes chased,

She planned her days tactfully.

Her elegant gracious emotions attract the world.

 With her sparkling eyes and vibrant toes

Her gestures imitate the twilight.

The enthralled notes of heavenly music

Enchanted her glorious past.

In her parlance, she was in the tiring.

The man, when he completed his desires, isolated her.

Her tears came as rain

And anger as storm.

She defended us from the calamities.

Her whisperings are the tunes of delight.

Her way turned into a cobweb.

Did she dare to conquer the heights?

With smile, she climbed the stairs of success.

Her winding path is a cobweb.

Our monotonous days reveal her past and future.

                               Give them the chances to prove themselves.

    

The hectic world looted her

With patience and kindness

She rewarded her womanhood.
