The Best Teacher

I run short of words for you

For your lovely presence in my life

Thank you for being for what you are,

You have been,

A strong source of support

And encouragement

In my odds.

You are one such teacher

Who teaches not from the books

But from your heart

The best teacher is one

Who stands with the students

In their difficult times

And instils confidence

To soar high in life

You are one among them

And the Best.

Words are not enough to show

How much you mean to me

You are such a wonderful person.

This poem is about my favourite teacher Kavitha who taught me during my graduation and post graduation days at All Saints College.
